From Vegas to Reno: HWY 95

If you find yourself driving the 440 mile journey from Las Vegas to Reno, you might as well know all of the hidden gems available to you.

1. The Views

   Above all, remember to pause and appreciate the desert! Your adventure will be enriched with stunning desert mountains, dunes, tumbleweeds, and quaint towns.

   

2. Wild Donkeys

   As you drive through Beatty, Nevada, watch for the wild donkeys wandering around the town!

   

3. Unique Vibes

   Keep an eye out for unique buildings like the Exchange Club Casino in Beatty, the Clown Inn in Tonopah

   

4. Walker Lake

   A stunning sight to see as you drive around Veterans Memorial Highway. The photos don't do it justice!

   

5. Coffee Shops

   Be on the lookout for quaint coffee shops like Mr. Bean's! Don't miss out on the opportunity to log your home town in the Travelers Book. It was so cool being able to read through the different locations and messages from past travelers.

   

6. Interesting food

   The desert has its own spin on your favorites. Don't miss out on the chance to try something new! I was able to try a Pastrami Bagel with a little twist

   You will inevitably see trains everywhere. The state even has its fair share of railroad museums. Its a great chance to learn about our nations industrialization
